Corbin press customer service not so good

called Corbin talked to Kelley to make sure i have all the dies for flat base boat tail and cupped
got the list together went on the site and ordered it, sent an email as i had a question about an ojive die
called 2 times answer machine day goes by i decided to call.
asked about the die then was told they don't have any 25 cal dies or any presses it will be 60-90 days.
i already paid for it the site did not say out of stock or 60-90 day wait neither did Kelly.
i said if that the case i will cancel he blows up on the phone pyramid don't have any i said i just got off the phone they have 4 in stock
when you make the other dies i will buy those later but for now the hollow point is just fine with dished base.
they don't have any blah blah blah i said cancel my order he continued to refuse to the point i said listen i no longer want your press
anymore or anything to do with your company your a sinking ship with that attitude then he says
15% re stock fee i laughed and said ya ok noot re stock fee for something you don't even have in stock that's fraud
don't know who you think you are but i would not buy anything i don't care how good it is
sick it where the sun don't shine.
all i can say is wow i feel bad for those who own one I'm sure they work well but clowns like that shouldn't be in business.
i think he had to many covid shots

I placed an order with them last december for a press and dies. I knew the dies woud have to be made and i know the wait is long. Unfortunatle i do not know of any other die makers who specialize in swadging. I ordered .3055 hollow point hollow ogive and x punch. I was aware of the waiting list and im still waiting for my goodies hopefully soon. Sorry you had a bad experience with them. My call and e mails have all been answered politely. Maybe you had just caught him on a bad day. I mean we all have bad days. Although customer service should come first

@Shelbygt500 They’re slow because they’re busy. That’s just how it goes. I’m currently waiting for a response to a question I asked weeks ago. I got a reply that same day then responded and haven’t heard anything for weeks. If I don’t follow up on emails, who knows when I will be contacted. I’m really not in a rush. In my experience calling is best. I haven’t called. They aren’t open on Fridays. I have not spoken to anyone who copped an attitude with me. I wasn’t demanding when I had to wait for something. When Corbin made a mistake that I brought to their attention, they gave me options on a resolution. I don’t know what went wrong in your interaction, but it sounds like you also lost your cool. I hope you get a full refund if nothing has been custom made or shipped To you. All I know is what you posted and what I’ve experienced. We all have different experiences and will spend our money accordingly.

@Shelbygt500 Which site did you read this on? I'd like to read what you read concerning Corbin Mfg. Can you post a link to this info?

GMI makes some, I believe the company is also on this forum, if I can find the thread where they were talking back and forth with the member that was showing how their product is I will post it. @Shelbygt500

Nothing or nobody pleases 100% of everyone 100% of the time ! My Corbin purchase and the communication one month ago was Great 100% . Went to a new Doctor a while back that my buddy said was great and came away knowing he was a quack in my opinion . Sorry for your bad luck but then that is what it comes down to just bad luck or timing .

Yes @JaceSpace1369 Thanks for the mention , I am the co-founder of GMI. @Shelbygt500 At GMI we also have a 45 day manufacturing window but we do not ask for restocking fees (I am surprised to hear about such policy).
You are welcome, I've seen great products come out from your business and have a very responsive customer support.

Have had nothing but POSSITIVE experiences with Corbin. Hell I have Kelly's number saved in my phone, if I have problems. I have had to leave messages from time to time, but there is NEVER a doubt that he will get back to me. All of their stuff is typically hand made when they are ordered or needed. This way they are able to control the quality and get things done correctly.

Find it really HARD to believe that "Kelly blew up" being as he has been working with many airgun guys and there hasn't been anything bad said. I have never heard of a company that doesn't have a restocking fee. You order something and they get the material cut up and ready to go, this isn't going to happen the second that you hit buy. Then the parts get put into the que and in line for the machining process. If you cancel you just cost them time already, as well as material. And they are not going to eat that price, and not to mention that you agreed to the terms when you hit buy.

There has got to be more to the story that we are not hearing about, or something that either happened or didn't happen.

Have spent more than a few thousands of dollars with them and have had an issue with one die. They made it right within the week and it was right. Many many people have had the same customer service as this.
