Oh yeah, if you have dogs, you don't want em to mess with the coons. Nasty predicament if they get one cornered and don't know how to handle the situation.

Raccoons have cost me substantial money at the vet for my cat as well. He's too dumb to let the raccoons eat his food. He fights them every time and every time he loses. I kill every raccoon I see in my yard to prevent future bills. Good shooting!

looks like they had an accident lol .. i had something in the garden, wont say what, and where my garden is located the side door opens right into it .. so it was snooping around and i managed to open the door sitting low with the mrod 25 .. it comes around the row and is staring right down the barrel about 15 feet away like 'uh-oh' *bam* lol .. needless to say, that one had an accident to lol ...

Don’t get me started about raccoons. I think someone is dropping them off by the truckload. I use a wheelbarrow as a hearse also to transport the dead bodies. Some of those suckers are heavy.

Coons certainly will be greeted with lead buffet if it lingers too long in my yard, they have been smart enough to simply pass through my yard once a great while. They are nasty with many parasites that could be transmitted to pets and humans, some really nasty stuff!

Raccoons. Nothing but trouble. Female looking for a place to nest, ripped all the shingles of my double layered roof on my house about a 2' circle and was starting to go through the wood in less than 2 minutes. They can be carrying 3 different parasites which are dangerous to children, pets, and you and I. And I've seen the results of coons killing and eating cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, and any other small mammal. I think the only reason city raccoons haven't eaten any children is toddlers and younger are not outside in the dark unsupervised. German shepherd was harassing a large raccoon walking the top of a 6' cedar fence. dog jumped up at the raccoon on the fence. Raccoon jumped down on the dog and the dog was dead, torn out jugular vein. Raccoon got on top of the fence and calmly walked the top of the fence into the dark. All my metal trash cans have a chain from the handle through the lid handle and hook to the other handle, especially my wife's bird feed storage cans. They have scattered the wood pile hunting something. They have chewed a holes in the garden hose to get water. I use traps and other things to discourage them ( the young are dumb). We have a person in the neighborhood who pours cheap dog food into a 30 gal steel drum cut in half the long way, wets it down and feeds them and lets them use a doggy door to her basement to let them nest there. I heard she is a stewardess and gone a lot. Federal wildlife says unless they see her pouring the dog food and see the raccoons eating while she is present in her yard they can't do anything. What would happen if you put out a salt lick and corn for deer, elk, and moose.

I can’t stand trash pandas. I have quite a few around me but have thinned down the population some. Nice shooting on those two.

Automatic lead poisoning, by the most expeditious manner. Depending on the circumstances this may mean a powder burner…
