Coolest FWB 300s accessory EVER !!!!

So check this out !!!! I'm talking with this really cool ( and smart ) guy today bout my favorite type Pellet gun (FWB300) and he says he took the sight off his and it shoots better ....So he wanted to make a muzzle shroud and maybe play with the weight like rimfire guys do for harmonics... This is what he came up with !!!!!!

Its a frigging piece of a 45-70 barrel ..How Cool is this poop !!!!!???.

I agree it looks cool. A threaded rod coupling nut would work. I'd want to grind off the galvanization and blue it and it would look identical. The guy must have replaced the barrel on his 45-70 cause nobody would cut down a 45-70 barrel just to get a barrel weight for an airgun. Or maybe he wanted a shorter barrel on his 45-70. Usually the octagon barrels on these ( I have one ) are on the 1886 'cowboy' type Browning or Winchester rifles. The barrels on these are always longer.
