Converting Fill Kit Hose to Foster QD

That is NOT the adapter you need. Big Tin Boat is correct. You need a 1/8" npt threaded Male fill whip (preferably microbore) x qd foster female on other end. Ebay has TONS of pcp fill whips. The adapter you show is what goes into tank (DIN 300 Tank adapter). Not sure if your fill adapter is npt or bspp.
Here's an example: (just unscrew MALE FOSTER for the Male threaded end)

By the OP’s photo, the gage brass threads look smaller in diameter than the circled thread, but I could be wrong.
It looks like the gage threads are 1/8-27NPT and the circled fitting looks like 1/4-18NPT, again, I could be wrong. Measure the circled fitting with a caliper or eyeball it with a scale (ruler). If it’s a 1/4-18NPT it will be about .540 diameter at the largest point (the thread is tapered so it will get larger as it gets farther from the end that’s screwed into the fitting. If it’s a 1/8-27NPT it will measure about .405 diameter at largest point.

If you don't have something on hand to check it with, you might want to take the hose to the hardware store and check the thread size where it attaches to the SCBA fill station. I have seen two different thread sizes on whips and connectors. All of mine are the same 1/8 NPT size other than one whip hose made in Italy, which has a different pitch on the threads, but the same outside diameter. It appears to thread in OK, but eventually binds up and would damage the female threads if it was tightened down.

I set up my tank with a male fitting like you are wanting to and it has been much better than having a hose screwed into the assembly. I also got several male to male fittings which makes it easy to combine more then one hose as needed. My recommendation is to avoid the male to male fittings made of brass, sticking with stainless steel only. I also plan on replacing all my brace female fittings with stainless steel eventually since I am requently filling to 4500 PSI and some brass fittings are not rated for that pressure. Per advice here on AGN if you get a male fitting that doesn't connect smoothly, slowly and lightly remove the sharp corners with some wet dry sandpaper until they connect and release properly. Be sure to clean off any sanding residue before inserting into a fitting to check for fit.

I did a quick search for a male Foster with a male 1/4NPT with no success. Found a male foster with 1/8NPT female that you would need to use a double male, 1/8 on one side and 1/4 on other side. I would use a steel or stainless steel not brass. And not from home depot.
Or like this...

with a regular 1/8npt male QD foster like is on a paintball reg, or crosman pcp, but without the check valve part
