Continue from my last FX post

I know that in .22 and .25 calibers you can get slug liners in both 500mm and 600mm. There is no accuracy benefit to having a longer barrel. In fact some believe that a shorter barrel might just “maybe possibly perhaps could sort of potentially have more precision because it is stiffer.“ The longer barrel does have the benefit of achieving more velocity at a given tune thereby allowing the owner to tune the rifle down a little bit and potentially obtain more accuracy through a more harmonious tune.

A longer barrel is usually better for longer distances for numerous reasons. Hope you're healing well man. My recommendation would be to look up Matt dubners videos on YouTube he does a great job of explaining this and their effects especially since he was on the ground floor of helping FX design their slug liners.

Matt is actually one of my favorite YouTubers. I just never found that specific answer lol

I will see if I can find the one where he discussed the difference in 500, 600, and 700 mm slug liners and pellet liner. It's very educational.
