Considering starting a N50 shoot in Marion, OH. Any interest?

Thanks for all the feedback folks. What is the average fee to shoot? We typically charge $20 for a 4 card ARA match. Since the N50 match is 3 cards would the fee be $15? Just trying to stay even with other clubs.

20$ seems reasonable to me. I paid 20 to shoot 2 cards not long ago for a Rimfire match. Nobody seemed to be complaining about that.

I wouldn't blink an eye at 20$.
That ammount is pretty much a standard fee for shoots at clubs I have shot at in Ohio. Everyone, for the most part, realizes that you have to kick up a little bit for the club to host events.

Yeah Tim, $15-20, you will have to account for extra cards shooters will want to practice on. It's pricey if you bought 100 cards.

Well, as luck would have it, I am going to miss next Monday’s monthly meeting due to our 40th wedding anniversary vacation trip to Niagara Falls. Today I met with a Club Trustee and he will bring it up for a vote for me in my absence. If they will approve the $100 expenditure then we will plan (and advertise) our first N50 shoot for the 3rd Saturday in October. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Does club sanction run 365 days from date you join or is it Jan to Dec?

Well, our club (Meeker Sportsman Club) met tonight and voted unanimously to join N50. We plan to schedule our first match Saturday Oct. 15. Registration is 11 am and match starts at noon.
