Considering a LCS SK-19 , What am i getting myself into ???

Hi Guys 

I have had my eye on this for some time, watched all the videos, read as much as i can find ...

For the most part all the info i have seen has been pretty damn positive, yes the the mag is not removeable, ok , and yes the trigger to some is suspect-ish , maybe ?

I guess i am looking for true , 1st hand owners knowledge of one of these , so drop some wisdom on me bro's... before i drop the boat load of cash .. please

I've never owned one or even considered it despite buying a lot of different brands/models over the years.. This is because I think it's a niche, novelty gun with a short honeymoon period. If you want to get it and see how quickly you can plow thru a block of ice every day, then its great but unless you're going to be doing that every single day, there are so many other rifles that do just about everything better than the LCS can.

Others are more accurate, have better triggers, removeable/better mags, are lighter, quieter, etc...you name it. The one thing the LCS does well is shoot fast but how often do you really need that? I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade because I don't have a dog in this race, just trying to point out the other perspective. If you have every other conceivable gun you want already then by all means buy the LCS to add to your collection. Or if you main goal is to get a gun that can shoot really fast and that's what really appeals to you, then buy it. But there have been quite a few LCS resold after a brief period of ownership and every time I see one listed, I wonder if the owner was curious, bought it and found out that the novelty did in fact wear off very quickly and is now moving it to buy a more practical or more useful gun instead...

From what I’ve seen, most people had to have it then lots showed up on here and other places used for sale, pita to load, mag doesn’t come out, spend more time loading and airing than shooting, nice to watch someone shoot or to try someone else’s, but I’ve never even had the inclination to buy one, over hyped , ok guys this is just “my opinion” and we r all entitled to one, lol

I looked at the LCS, Evanix, everything. I never looked at semi/full auto AG's as something that I have to have.

I bought the new Hatsan Invader just to try it. It is fun for what it is but as anyone knows, SS bolt action is most precise as are SS target air rifles.

The semi/full auto are fun and possibly great for a Skunk in your garbage but for serious group or long range? Not so much; but it's surprisingly better than I thought. Cycles slugs with no problem also. 
If you want to burn through tins of pellets okay. All of these cycle CPHP's very well. 
I don't know about LCS but I believe every semi/full should have a chamber/hot indicator as it's too easy to forget. 
I'm sorry I can't comment on a LCS, but please note this. I now know 100% I'm glad I didn't spend more for another novelty item. Take that for what it's worth.

I don't disagree with your perspective , if this was my Only gun then , no i wouldn't even consider it.......

I do have pretty much every other aspect of gun in my collection. 

I just have an itch for the semi auto or auto platform , it honestly is between the Leshiy 2 and this LCS to scratch that itch if i choose to do so

Well, then I think you answered your own question then ;)

One other note I'd point out is that I'm probably one of the few owners of the Leshiy 2.0 that wishes it wasn't semi-auto for a number of reasons (safety, accuracy, consistency, propensity to go thru boatloads of air & pellets, etc.). The only things I didn't like about the Leshiy Classic were to single shot, small singular aitube and it was pretty ugly. The L2 solved all three of those issues for me so the rapid fire wasn't why I bought it.

My only regret on mine in .25 is I wish I’d gotten a .22. A .30 cal would be pretty sweet too. I’ll take the trigger as is over a heavy one or even the Leshiy 1 in factory form. No offense intended to Ed. It’s just as smooth and slightly more predictable. Never got used to the trigger on auto but that’s more for putting smiles on faces and warning shots when you catch the neighbors dog chasing your chickens. Complete opposite direction and into a safe backstop and only when justified in but opposed to lethal force. Still just joking but I bet it’d work

I had one in .25. The first one leaked/malfunctioned. AoA took care of it by sending me a new gun. It was fantastic, but I did not need/want the full auto, I didn't even try it for a month after I got it. Best thing I ever did was to buy two 2020 Huben K1's (.22 and .25, thanks Kelly Schmidt at Krazcool Airguns). A little lighter than the SK. A little shorter than the SK. A little quieter (to my ear) than the SK, a better trigger than the SK. Loading the mag on the gun is no problem to me 17 shots in .25 and 19 in .22 is plenty for me, and no worse than fumbling around with magazines in the field. While others diddle with valves, pucks, barrels, and magnets, I just pick up my caliber of choice, sighted in with my projectile of choice, and go hunting.

The LCS SK 19 does look interesting, but the Leshiy 2 I will say is an adaptable platform that can change with your needs, and this is what I wanted. But at the same time based off my limited experience they are different creatures. I see the LCS as bench long range shooter, but not a stalker / dedicated hunter, if that is what you want then I would go with a Leshiy 2, I love mine.

I really love mine it is very well built supposedly here in the USA although I expect some parts are made elsewhere. It shoots a variety of pellets at 5/8 - 3/4 inch at 75 yards and the full auto function is a blast. It functions flawlessly I have never had a jam or any trouble at all other than the original barrel was defective. I purchased it in the .22 cal so I could use it for some pesting. Problem is that it is a bit too powerful for the type of pesting I had planned for it. So, I may end up selling it so I can purchase something a bit less powerful.
