Thank you we are safe and sound. Both of my tanks need recertification and the nearest place is down in Phoenix 100 miles away.
I'm glad they only need this every 5 years.

Not trying to diminish the OP, Mister's eraser tip tip, lol but I use these when I lose the custom cap that came with my RAW.... Courtesy of a tip from Will Piatt, Saddle Mountain Gunsmith. They work great and are cheap.

Not trying to pee in the partys punch bowl here but I would worry about eraser dust and debris introduced with repeated on and offs. JMO! Yo!

Exactly - an eraser is actually by design made to fall apart. Getting just the tiniest piece stuck in a foster check valve will lead to disassembly.

I have been using the Everbilt 1/4" white rubber screw protectors from Home Depot for several years now for all of my male foster fittings. Lowes has them too but maybe a different brand name and color .

Whenever you buy a new (or pre-owned) gun from AoA give them the ol nugde to have them include those cool AoA rising sun nipple tassels. Yo!
