Congratulations..

Congratulations to all that participated at EBR 2018!

I loved this years friendly competition between FX Airguns, and Daystate.

Hopefully next year RAW, or another will be in the final 3 too, more competition between manufacturers is a very good thing for us average airgunners.

More innovation, better quality, and more events!!!

Indeed! Very nice to see such a Daystate presence (and Brocock's BIG win with Bantam Sniper HR) following so many FX dominated events. Will be great to see RAW, AA, EDguns step it up and have them all bring on more innovation and better quality/reliability.

I was surprised Daystate wasn’t in the top 3. Was also surprised to see previous FX shooters shooting red wolfs. It was almost like AOA represented Daystate and Utah Air Guns represented FX. Anyway my congratulations to all participants whether you were a winner or not.

Yeah a Brocock (daystate) won the main event and many red wolfs won other events. Matt won speed silo with an impact though.

Yes, Matt did win the unlimited open class Speed Silo. What the report doesn’t say was Val Simmons was ahead of him the whole way until for some reason he had trouble hitting the chickens at 25 yards (he started shooting back to front). Everyone watching thought he had it in the bag and would beat Matt. I talked to Val after and he said he never had problems before with the chickens and it was just one of those things... My strategy was to shoot the pigs first at 35 yards since they are easiest to hit. Then chickens at 25 yards. Next turkey at 45 yards and finally rams at 55 yards.

Happy for all the shooters big and small, congrats to all!

I Rooted for T. Hammer. Love to see the underdog running with the alfa pack, so to speak. The big box guys invest alot of cash to win and many of the key players get brand name support to shoot on the daily (all of our dream jobs) and they put in work to get that opp no doubt. Money ain't always everything but this sport ain't cheap to compete at that level. Nice to see a few of the participants donating back to the community too. Wish I could have attended just to watch and learn or even to have my ars handed to me in comp. Hopefully some raffle winnings and borrowed equipment end up on classifieds or bargan gates for cheap. I'm just a newb so I'll take whatever I can afford and like it. Thanks AoA for hosting the event and all the contributing members for bringing the sport to the next level.

Mike... I know how close you were to winning in Silo. What rifle were you shooting with?

I'm sorry that a silly mistake sidelined you. Perhaps you will get that top spot next year!
