Thinking about giving slugs a try in my Condor SS in.25cal. Any good pointers or suggestions on what to start out with? Mainly using for gophers, pigeons, and squirrels.

Try Varmint Knockers 32.8 gr slugs. They do pretty darn well in mine with the SS barrel and they do even better with the long barrel.
Varmint Knockers are sold on eBay, I actually just ordered a couple more packs a few days ago. Great seller/shipper. I’ve ordered several times from him.
And here’s a tip: Be extra careful with the slugs shooting pigeons and such. They travel a lot farther than pellets and they penetrate a lot deeper into your backstop.
