I hate to say this but with kids already getting shot by police officers for carrying BB guns and pellet guns why would anyone want to make their air rifle look even more like a real fire arm, just asking for trouble unless they are only used on private property or gun ranges and that would be difficult to enforce. This is just my personal opinion based on events that have taken place in the past, Neil.

Neil, I have been concerned stalking around my place with a Marauder. One of those would make the neighbors nervous.

I think as parents of kids we would agree that it's not a kids gun, nor should kids be unsupervised when using these.
As for stalking around you house with a Marauder, I'd be concerned about anyone stalking around a house with any type of gun.
These kits aren't for everyone's tastes.

It would make me nervous too, if I wanted something that looked like that I would buy the real thing. I honestly think the sway towards air rifles looking like real guns might bring more problems with law enforcement, time will tell.
