Tuning condor 25 help on repairing H/spring and top hat

My internet sucks and can only watch x amount of stuff then it slows to nothing. That being said that's why I can't look too many up not that I'm too lazy to do so. Wen need help putting on an H/spring conversion and a top hat for my buddies Condor 25. The parts finally got here. He ordered these from Talon back in October. The video I watched showed taking off the trigger assembly to do the spring. I shouldn't have to that do I? Take the barrel off switch them out and game over, right?

With the top hat someone helped us with info before and said how to use the grommet pullers which I have and just pop it out silicone grease it and put it back. His gun has sat for months because it was too noisy to shoot where he lives now. the guage shows no pressure. That's not good that it leaked out. I assume we just dry fire it to make sure it's completely empty before disassembling it? Change it out then put air in and figure out where his leak is, right? Oh he got the moderator but I think we can handle that one lol

thanks

I have a Condor but I'm far from an expert on them. I don't remove the trigger group to remove hammer or hammer spring. It might make it easier but I never have. Top hat can be removed easily with a couple of screwdrivers but care should be taken to put equal pressure on each side. It isn't difficult to do. As noted, a little silicone lube and push the new top hat in. If you are going to work on the tank/valve very much a screw on cap to bleed off pressure is very helpful but dry firing to lower pressure until you can press on the valve and make sure it is empty will work.
