I had a Tuxing twin cylinder worst POS you've ever seen!!! Everything about it sucked leaks slow fill getting parts. Money down the drain!
And then another member chimes in, "Tuxing is best compressor I ever had, ran for years, never a problem." That's what I mean as, "hit or miss," Quality Control. Take with a grain of salt anyone guaranteeing any brand of Chinese compressor is ALWAYS reliable and safe. Rolled the dice on an authentic Yong Heng fours years ago, so far, faithful service. Another member did same, but with extended warranty, broke down after 3.5 years, all money refunded. WM

I cannot streets how important the variable of the end user is. Opinions on what is acceptable, what the compressor actually is, what they did for lube and maintenance, how cognizant of funny sounds or behaviors they are ALL plays a part. I'm Not throwing shade either. I HATE YONG HENGS but some people love them and have many hours on them. I killed 3. I killed a cs4. The cheap little orange Shoebox clones on amazon make a ton of sense even if they're junk because they're junk cheap.

My tuxing is a different beast, I've only seen 1 Dutch user who owned the same model which is a Coltri dive compressor clone. 1l/m and 4 cylinder. It was stressful spending 4 figures on Ali express by the time mandatory air freight was factored in. I love it tho, I can refill 2500-4500 in about 15 minutes on an 88cf or my great white 97cf(allegedly)

After years of hand pumping or filling buddy bottles at paintball shops I got a heng, then another, then another, then a cs4..... Then I learned buy once cry once I could've gotten this with what I spent.

Welcome to the club, @6gun! It's great once you finally figure out to stop screwing around and just go big the first time. Case in point, I just got my first compressor, a GX E-5K2, and it's amazing.
I'm just glad I can make or re machine all the parts in it. It's huge, heavy and power hungry tho. You'll find in my posts I can't leave well enough alone and everything gets dialed to 11 in some way eventually.

Decided after my Hatsan Lightning HPA compressor went down for the second time that I was tired of HPA insecurity. It was not a question of if it would fail, but one of when it would. To that end I have a Daystate 4500 PSI Compressor 110V Super Leggero on the way. It should serve me for the long run. My justification on price? Is that there are quite a few PCPs well above the price of this sweet HPA compressor. Heck my Ghost Carbine and Pathfinder exceed it in price, particularly as kitted out. My BRKs have been stellar so I expect the same from Daystate HPA compressor. Am looking forward to just simply sending as many pellets as I please. I did consider less expensive alternatives, but the lesser price wasn’t worth the worry about longevity and performance to specs...🙏

Congratulations on the GX E-5K2, should handle all your HPA needs easily. WM

Just rolled over 10 hours on my Daystate Super Leggero. Great compressor for sure. My Tuxing TXEDT032 ran for over 2 years, then I needed to clean the High Pressure valve. Then the high pressure cylinder went out and needed rebuilt. I still have the Tuxing and use it once a month to keep it lubed…Still fills tanks with no issue. It is louder than the Daystate.

Daystate is much much better!

Thank you Tony, (my favorite uncle’s name) BTW. It’s reassures me in my decision to read your post…🙏

I just did my first tank top-off today and it felt great. No drama and it was done faster than I could have driven to my local dive shop and back. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner!
