I like how Amazon will send me down the rabbit hole whenever I do a search....even a very specific search. It's almost like they intentionally show you everything you "might be interested in" instead of the product that I'm actually looking for.I also wonder if the listings are intentionally confusing. OTOH, eBay and Amazon searches are often enough to send one to therapy. +1 on the risk that you described. One of our popular Canadian airgun suppliers has "bait and switched" on at least three occasions so I will no longer deal with them. JDB pellets (500 pkg) are shown in the add, but what arrives are a different make, in (250 pkg) that they claim are made by JSB, down in the fine print.....
I won't name them because that just opens up fights by those who think they should defend.
Some of the Amazon vendors seem just as sketchy as the the aliexpress sellers too, but I like to presume that I have more recourse should a something goes wrong w the purchase....even though I have zero evidence that this is actually true
