N/A Compessor from Aliexpress?

I also wonder if the listings are intentionally confusing. OTOH, eBay and Amazon searches are often enough to send one to therapy. +1 on the risk that you described. One of our popular Canadian airgun suppliers has "bait and switched" on at least three occasions so I will no longer deal with them. JDB pellets (500 pkg) are shown in the add, but what arrives are a different make, in (250 pkg) that they claim are made by JSB, down in the fine print.....

I won't name them because that just opens up fights by those who think they should defend.
I like how Amazon will send me down the rabbit hole whenever I do a search....even a very specific search. It's almost like they intentionally show you everything you "might be interested in" instead of the product that I'm actually looking for.

Some of the Amazon vendors seem just as sketchy as the the aliexpress sellers too, but I like to presume that I have more recourse should a something goes wrong w the purchase....even though I have zero evidence that this is actually true

I'm looking for a GX-CS4I. Aliexpress is at least $100 cheaper than anybody else. Anybody buy anything from them?
I ordered a GX CS4I from Alibaba (not AliExpress) mid-year in 2024. Supposedly straight from the factory. Took about 1 month (they gave me a delivery date and it arrived a week earlier than their estimate). They told me ahead of time that the brand would not be "GX", but it's very similar. Came with a GX instruction manual. Works and looks exactly like a GX. Saved about $200 from the lowest sale prices available at the time. Free shipping.

I've been perfectly happy with it. Would I buy it again? Probably not, owing to the tariff unknowns and lack of support. But for the money at the time, it was worth a gamble.

I've been shopping on AliExpress since around 2019. Found some lovely VG-10 kitchen knives, basically knock-offs of some standard Japanese kitchen knives, but at about a quarter the price.

That said, I've since found better Japanese sources for Japanese knives and have decided to stick with them.

For a compressor like a GX compressor I'd be fine going with AliExpress (and I think I have). I've never needed the warrantee on such a compressor.

The main problem with Ali Express is the vendors change so quickly. If a vendor has less than 1000 sales, I'd be skeptical. If they have more than 1000 sales and a poor rating, similarly be skeptical. If you restrict yourself to vendors with a good rating and 1000+ sales, you can wind up searching for a long time!

If your new compressor ends with an air line with a female foster and your bottle has an air line with a female foster then all you need is a male to male. But to add a filter to the compressor you may need to connect the existing line to the new filter and get a 5000 psi air line to go from the new filter to the bottle or gun. Amazon has them. I also put a one way valve on the output of the extra filter so I don't loose the air in the bottle if something goes wrong with one of the filters or the compressor. The one way also lets me open the bottle immediately after starting the compressor since the bottle cannot pressurize the compressor. Amazon has them too.
do you know the part number description to search for on Amazon? Thanks

Sorry my trackpad skills do not extend to creating links. The description on Amazon of the one way valve is "8mm Fill Nipple Male Quick Disconnect valve with one way foster stainless steel for paintball Airsoft PCP". I found it searching "one way valve for paintball tank". The extra hose was listed on that page when I got to it with a description "Maddog Paintball Airsoft fill whip hose extension 4500 psi PCP-36 inch". The hose was $25.99 and the one way valve less than $10. A complication is the one way valve threads onto the female threads of the filter. They have several types but you may need a thread pitch gauge (less than $10 last time I looked) and a digital caliper to figure out what you have. Or maybe you have a detailed description of the filter that says.

I know very little about this, but I was told my tank has a DIN valve like for scuba tanks. Will my new GX CS4I fill this tank with the parts included with iy?

My only concern would be to check how long the CS4 can handle continuous operation. With my CS2 to fill a large tank like that is I cycle the pump off and on to help keep everything cool.
