Compatto Comes Out...

After work today I decided to give the Bantam HR a rest. So I pulled out the Compatto which I haven’t grouped with in months. Four consecutive, five shot groups at 40 yards. Sending JSB Exact Jumbo 18s. The first three groups where to the right of POA. I adjusted 3 clicks right for the last group. Bipod and fist as rear rest. A sweet, accurate shooter.

@Ezana4CE, just the Compatto and the Bantam HR. The Compatto led me to the Bantam. Now I'm seriously eyeballing the Concept Lite XR. I've been spoiled by the boring reliability and accuracy. I've sent thousands of pellets through both without issues. Just yesterday I smoked a rat with my Bantam at 45 yards. I’ve taken dozens at that distance. If they present for more than a few seconds...? They’re toast.

@L-Leon I hear ya. Put down a couple of critters within 30 yrds. Only whiffed clean on one. They are some solid guns. I have yet to test their range or power. I only shoot on low. I cranked it a little for a rushed shot on a crow and missed him clean. Shooting from the bench into paper it’s a damn drill press. Is there a big difference between the two besides the reg? Have you had any issues with either of your Brococks?

The difference is shot count, and the Compatto is unregulated, but more svelte. 25 good shots out to 50 yards or 20 out to 100 yards. Replaced O ring at inlet valve on Compatto. It developed a slow leak which I did not notice until it became my secondary PCP. I was shooting it almost everyday. On my Bantam I dislodged the O ring at the inlet valve by filling too fast. After the easy fix, at least a hundred fills with no issues.
