I bought mine with the standard(short) .23 barrel and the longer 350mm .177 barrel with extension.For my needs this combo will do what I want with the gun. I also got the Huma regulator with it and then by luck bought the John Hagan air cylinder from another Leshiy owner.Longer .177 barrel with Huma reg shooting 19ft lbs I got 35 shots per fill....once I added the extra air cylinder I'm at about 60 shots with the same setup.

With my setup with extension I don't think any other moderation is needed at all....it's very quiet.if u wanted to go the Donny route by all means do it I'm.sure it will be quiet

The FX Impact is a Pro gun. It does everything. It wins all the big shoots. It is incredibly versatile, tunable and it fits in a briefcase with the barrel removed. It can be configured with .177, 22, .25 and 30 cal., with interchangeable barrels. The only Con. is cost......it isn't cheap.

I really like the leshiy but by the time you upgrade to the 350mm barrel and extra air cyclinder mod you gotta be close to say 1700$ new and that's just 300$ shy of a impact.

Just food for thought.

The Leshiy fits a niche that if you want the best it will cost you. I have one and don't use it much but when I do its money well spent.

My only thoughts of going the DonnyFL route is I can keep the gun at the shorter length with the 350mm barrel inserted and I already own (2) of his mods I would just need the 1/2 x 20 adapter to attach to the end of the 350mm barrel. My airgun fund will be depleted after buying the leshiy and scope for it and the DonnyFL adapter so the Huma reg and extra barrels will have to come next month then the month after I may look into the longest air Cylinder John can make to increase shot count as much as I can or just get a 480cc Carbon fiber bottle with the edgun fill kit as that would give me way more shots than the extra cylinder and wouldn't be much of a hassle to carry along.

I have no problem shooting in the mid 700fps and have faith that is more than needed to kill a squirrel or most birds within 60 yards or so. I didn't have a chrony when I first got my impact and was amazed at the power and accuracy it had and come to find out I was only shooting at 735fps with 18.1JSBs. I killed a few squirrels out of a fence row at 90 yards with 18.1 JSBs at the 735fps. now I shoot 895fps and wow oh wow what I can do with it. haha

The Lelya 2.0 gets 30 shots with a 210bar fill and 60 with a 300 bar fill.

I am not an expert, but the Leshiy is awesome. I mounted a bugbuster 12x scope and its just an awesome small backpack (any size) unit. Looking forward to some trips into the woods with a 90 ci tank.. shooting for a whole day.

Taipan .25 Veteran shorty gets my vote... 23.5 ", accurate, powerful (45fpe), reliable and awesome trigger.

Im going to vote for the Leshiy. Great backpack gun. Sure its single shot but thats not a big deal for me anyway. Also I'd like to bring up the kalibrgun ocelot. I have mine scoped (pistol scope). It fits nicely in my fishing tackle bag nicely. Actually I can get the Leshiy and the ocelot both in a cheapo plano hard pistol case. I just toss that in my jeep when I go out and about. But like many have said before. It can cost you. Again. My vote is for a Leshiy.
