I have 2 Combro chronographs, 1 reads realistically, say 600 fps on a Gamo Express. The other reads 150 fps on the same gun. Any suggestions.....besides throw the 2nd one away? And please don't say write X4 on the back of #2.
Low battery? Screens dirty? My Shooting Chrony shuts off if air temp is at 32 or lower. As the battery temp gets closer to freezing it starts to read "funny". Just wondering
I knocked my old one off the bench and broke it. Had to order a new one. If I remember correctly, the older ones came with a calibration number that had to be entered for proper calibration. Maybe recalibrate it ? Just a guess, I don't really know for sure, the new ones come already calibrated.
There are four IR LEDs (2 emitters and 2 detectors facing each other) . Check it they are misaligned, loose mount., or missing the lens cover "window". Also there may be a loose wire. Took these photos off the internet posted by others who had those issues. Look at parts 4-05 4-04 (LEDs) and parts 4-14 and 4-13.
