Coma wheel direction

I am looking for a new scope and side wheel combination for field target. I really want a removable side wheel.
JD custom is what I have now. It is great. But I’m shopping around while they are restocking inventory.
I just discovered that the coma side wheels come in two directions. If the parallax wheel turns clockwise to increase magnification it is one type and if turning counter clockwise increases magnification it is the other style.
Can someone please show a picture of how it should be set up.

The coma side wheels are generally positioned so the tighter radius is used at the shorter distances, progressing to a broader radius at the farther ranges, giving the operator more space between yardages…good luck with your new setup. John

Your 55 should be at or near the max diameter and closer ranges at the smaller diameter of wheel.

Thanks I think I have a nice scope and wheel combination for my TX. It is 16x but shorter than my others. So I can see the whole loading port.
The wheel is a Scope-werks wheel for an Aztec scope. But I made an adapter.

Buy a round 6” mag wheel and it won’t matter… you’ll thank me later!
I think only Nightforce is the reverse direction but not completely sure
what scope are you considering?
I may even have a scope and a wheel your looking for

You are correct. I picked the wrong one. I am looking for a FFP 10-25 x56 with a magnetic side wheel and illumination. I have an Aztec Emerald 5.5-25 with a JD custom wheel.
But it does not have illumination. And I have another gun that needs a scope.
