Now, that I have one of these Coltri compressors, I find myself ‘purposely trying’ to use more air & fire more shots at the range. I used to be a bit more conservative so that I could extend the fill interval of driving to the Dive Shop. Now, I top of my two bottles at higher PSI pressures, just because I want to use it.
I do want to force myself to give it a good test at 3000 psi to 4600 psi ( auto shutoff threshold), just to run it a bit longer during the break in period.
My wife thinks I’m crazy. I’m sure some of you can relate. Between going out into garage and cleaning barrels, replacing breech o-rings, changing scopes, using the new compressor, etc, etc….
Like Waylon Jennings famously wrote in one of his popular songs, “ I’ve always been crazy, but it helps me from going insane.”
