I mounted a cold shot to my Daystate Safari .25 today. This is my dedicated slug gun. It definitely saves some wear and tear on your scope if you shoot long distance.
I was concerned that the clicks would not be repeatable, but it seems to work really well. Zeroed the rifle at 50 yards, and was able adjust out to 345 yards with plenty more left.
This is 325 yards to a steel plate.
So far I’m impressed with the cold shot. I’ll shoot more tomorrow.
