Coiled hose for filling a pcp ?

it says it is good to 4500 psi anyone ever use one of these

Never used one of these and can appreciate the convenience but wouldn’t a long hose with that much internal volume waste a lot of air with each fill?

If its rated for 4500psi yes you can. But some are rated for 3000psi or less for paintball guns. So make sure you get one that is rated for 4500psi.

The wording on the ad is not particularly clear. This remote line will FIT onto 4500/3000 psi PAINTBALL tanks. Paintball tanks are regulated output to UNDER 1000 psi. I spent many years playing and working with paintball equipment. This item is definitely not rated for PCP airgun pressures.

Also, this remote line is designed to open the pin style valves on paintball tank regulators. If you have a tank like an Air Venturi 90 cuin tank the valve uses a ball not a pin to seal. This remote will not open the valve (the AV tank valves are designed this way just for this reason)

I purchased a couple of coiled remote hoses some years back and they were plainly marked 850 PSI. Unless those hoses are using a decent micro-bore line they are not truly rated for the 3000 to 5000 PSI claimed by various sellers. The only way I would trust them would be to get info from the maker of the hose or better yet cut one open and see if the hole inside is the diameter of a small sewing needle. If it is then it is likely micro-bore hose if the hole is larger it is not good for the pressures claimed. Also I have never seen micro-bore hose for that kind of money. It is usually four to five times more expensive for a short straight hose.

Agreed. That looks like a hose for a Co2 bottle to paintball gun.
