Got my Alpha 6 today. UPS smashed the crap out of the outer box, but the inner box was pristine. Took it outside and wow! Yo was right. For $213, the picture is like a $500-$600 scope. Only thing I did not try is the illumination. Amazing the nice glass you can get for so little money.

I decided for an alternate route, got a red dot + x6 magnifier that shall give me some time to collect a cash for a decent Euro glass.

Sorry for hijacking the O thread.

I'm never offended by anyone who means well.
I posted it to help any & all.

I don't get why it went to the Canada thing but hey now. I chan't rightly ship an airgun to Canada myself now, can I?

Bighun brought usa vs canada into this. Its a fact that for years now USA won't export optics to Canada. Nothing new, nothing personal against you Attila.

Lol I was gonna say it's a law that's you can't export scopes out of the US to I believe anywhere else. Not like it's just against Canada.

I got mine in last week and mounted it on my new Benjamin Akela. I must say, it is a very nice scope. Very clear and bright. And I love the reticle. I've been shooting side by side with an Arken SH4 and an Athlon Talos BTR . I think it is brighter than the Athlon and the same as the Arken.

Not a lot of difference in the daytime but at twilight and can see a difference.

My Alpha 6 scope came this morning and 10 minutes later my .177 FTT pellets that I wanted to try came in. This worked out to be that magical combo that I have read about, but I've rarely experienced. I guess I'm one of the true believers now. I really like this scope and I would say it's now my favorite and my Discovery FFP is now second. I won't be making any silly remarks about $800 scopes because I've never owned a scope over $350. I like it enough that I might forgive YO for typing "YO" after every post last year. Mine is on a low powered springer and after more than a hundred pellets there are NO signs of anything moving around. I'm posting three ten shot groups @ 25 yds from bucket and

sticks.and a standing group @20 yds on some vermin (Rattus Metalica). the one flyer was a sighter after I moved the scope forward.
