I'm coming at this topic from two points of view: Several years ago I owned a 1st Gen FX Bobcat, totally stock. I could shoot hundreds of rounds and get hole-in-hole accuracy. Then one day, the groups started opening up and I was racking my head trying to figure out the problem. Then it dawned on me to remove the shroud and clean the inside of it (it was filthy--much accumulated lead dust.) I put it back on and everything was back to normal.
My second point of view is that I own a .22 rimfire suppressor and it will only shoot so good before the baffles have to be removed for cleaning. Once clean, accuracy returns.
The airgun LDCs (Donny FL) I've had experience with have sealed baffles, so disassembly is not possible. So cleaning pretty much nonexistent.
So, I'm curious how many of you guys clean your LDCs and if it makes a discernible difference in your groups or not.
