Do these fly straight out? Just wondering if you have a “hollow” LDC and it hits the opening or endcap if it would do damage.

Wouldn't risk it with an LDC. Not so much a chance of damage as filling it with frayed cleaning pellets.

I would use a little more descriptive language. Are you talking about cleaning pellets or cleaning pellets out of an LDC or cleaning pellet shavings or particles/particulates out of an LDC? And do you mean a hollow as in taking the baffles out of the LDC?

I was reading old threads on here a couple days ago. Someone had a pellet hit the inside of his Donnyfl and damage the inside of his moderator.
He got lucky, only the inside baffles got nicked, but the pellet ended up exiting the appropriate hole with no serious issue, and Donny chimed in and sent him new moderator. I was impressed.

Oh okay. Yeah just unscrew the moderator. If it is attached I would avoid the cotton swabs and do a bore snake instead (more effective anyway with 1-2 pass through a every 10,000 pellets

I havn’t see any, other than a makeshift one out of a oil can (but that has chambers built in). Can you post an LDC company you are referencing? I’d love to see how effective they are compared to a traditional baffle system.
