Cleaning Barrel of Royal Boss .303

How do I remove the shroud off my FX Royale Boss so I can have a easier job of cleaning the barrel. I utilize the Patch Worm but I had to struggle with getting the nylon line to feed through the tight breach area. I was able to finally bend the nylon line as straight as possible to get the line to feed into the straw and exit the barrel. I'm thinking that a longer straw would be beneficial. Also I have to work at it to get the straw to feed through modifier section.
And for sure you have to be real careful as to not letting straw drop out of sight into the barrel. I thought I was in big when the straw disappeared into the barrel but I was amazed that I was able to point the barrel straight down and the straw did drop out of the barrel.
Any Input would be much appreciated.

Slightly confused here

" I was able to finally bend the nylon line as straight as possible to get the line to feed into the straw and exit the barre "

you are pulling from the breech to muzzle right?

Might a "crown saver" be easier to use?

Someone who has one will be right along but I was thinking the shroud is "permanently " attached and needs heat to remove?

Have had both an FX Boss and Royale 500. The end cap of course can screw off, but to get the moderator to unscrew, you have to heat it up with a propane torch (won't damage or miscolor the moderator) until the heat melts the lock tight or whatever they use to adhere the moderator on with. Air rifles sold with a moderator have to have it fixed by law. I once asked if I could get one without it permanently fixed and they said no, it would be against the law.
