Has anyone measured the optimal engraving by barrel for best accuracy of 22 cal slugs?
I am wanting to put together an aftermarket barrel. Do not want off the shelf bore diameters.
If you could have anything what would you say is best engraving of rifling for .217 slugs?
.002 ,.003 ?
Want to make sure they are uniform out of the barrel and get proper consistent twist.
Thinking 1/16 twist and 40 gr.
