You're good assuimg you checked seller's good postitve feedback before sending such a high dollar amount to any complete stranger I wouldn't worry.

AND! The seller was NOT a NEW fly by night BRAND NEW MEMBER who joined without contributing anything productive to this forum.

Thanks for the heads up odoyal. Did you pay friends and family? If not just call PayPal. I'm sure you know that just saying it in case you don't. I'd call them anyway and make a complaint. You won't get your money back but it could save someone from having that happen again. Thieves are the worst.

Best sound advice is to beware of new members who don't have the best interest in this forum who are just wanting to use our forum to scam unsuspecting members who think of us as easy pickings since PayPal no longer covers airgun related purchases and they know it.
