Ok, I agreed with your first response, the second one , not so much. Your taking way too much of a defensive stance. I do tons of deals and forget to leave feedback sometimes. But happy to do so if requested AND their part warrants it. The positive feedback is the currency that we have here. Now if a member asks for it and fails to give it in return, well, I’ll remember their butt for next time. I will also give accurate interaction with any member I deal with to another unsure member if asked. You shouldn’t take it as an attack on your character.

Thats the point, if a person makes a sale, THEN whines about feedback, no mas! If its asked for up front then I agree.
I am not defensive, it most certainly was an attempt to attack my character but in the end, its freaking airguns and if it bothers me, Ill go out to the shop and go make something!

You are confusing liberty with doing something respectful and courteous. Your attitude is very defensive as others have pointed out, and very repulsive and comes across as a bit egotistical.
Its common respect and good manners to give feedback. Its how others here know and it helps build the community and also protect it some. Shame you dont seem to grasp this concept, but replace it with the attitude you show.

It is not common respect nor manners when it is thrust upon you, each and every person here is allowed the freedom to choose for themselves how they respond and I choose the liberty of not posting feedback unless a conversation has taken place beforehand.

As I have already posted, I have no problem with feedback when it's been discussed beforehand, just don't whine about it because you have some expectation that may not be shared by others.

You need to lay off the "merica" koolaid and certainly need to lose the puffed up big chest attitude you have. I showed this thread to a friend who isn't even into shooting. Her reply was "yeah his energy is bad joojoo and he has a huge ego that needs to be knocked down a bit" She is spot on with it.
This isn't about "liberty or don't tread on me" Its about common decency and respect. Something you've sadly forgotten or never had. I'm as patriotic as they come, but this isn't patriotism but ego. Something you clearly cant see the difference with. When I sell something, I track that package DAILY. When it is out for delivery I let the buyer know and ask they advise when they receive it. At the point where they say they got it, I let them know I am leaving feedback and ask that they do the same as long as there are no qualms with the purchase on their end and they say they are satisfied. If they don't leave feedback, thats an issue with me.
