I take care of it myself. Anyone who tries to skirt the rules is blocked. Once I block someone, I won't buy from them even if they are selling a $2,500 item for $1, and I will not sell to them at any price. Five years from now I may not remember why I blocked them, but once blocked, it's permanent.

That is an interesting way of dealing with it.
I struggle with patience frequently myself. But airguns are not cheap and it seems reasonable to try and screen people wanting to buy and sell. I understand it can be frustrating to people starting out but I think the rule is a good one.
If you need a topic and work on the gun yourself pick a mod or a repair and tell us what you did and why. That seems more like a solid post.

I go further than that. I'll let a post by someone trying to break the rules go for a couple pages. I then go back and read all the replies. If other members enable these people by keeping the thread going, asking for details, or offering to DM them to buy from them, they get blocked also. One who helps someone go around the rules is no one I want to deal with either.
