.hey , kingfisher , i just unboxed that project fwb 124....it's nice .... the short scope 2 is in the box and has the different scope rail pins in it...the serial number is in the 20k's every thing is very good shape...only a few pressure marks under the stock....of course - this one had a scope on it , too  .... but even the scope stop looks unused.... lord have mercy !! those sheridan grades have me slobbering all over myself ! is that a custom stock on that one with checkering ? (did your lady friend stock maker do that one ?) i couldnt believe how well those were made :

Those are Holy Grail.... Sheridan Model A or B Real collectors items. Almost as rare as rocking horse pooh

Ranedouglas, I refinished my sheridan model A stock, resealed the internals, and added... a pachmyr rubber whitelined butt pad, grip cap with flip-up pellet storage compartment, fiber optic front sight, and Merit adjustable peep Iris. And yes, then I sent it out to my checkering person.

BTW, I used Maccari RLO stock oil on the sheridan for a nice satin finish. I use his oil finish on all my gun restorations.
