Hi everyone! Just repaired my old RWS 350 Magnum- had a broken spring- replaced it and put in new piston seal-never had a springer apart before and had to make my own spring compressor, and it worked! I’ve had this rifle for 15-20 yrs, and I’m very impressed with the quality and workmanship that went into this rifle. The bluing is impeccable, you would think where you put your hand on the barrel to cock it it would wear off, but it looks as good as when it was new, even after 3000+ shots! To me, this is a classic rifle, I installed Skinner peep sights a while back, best upgrade I could have done. Sorry, I just don’t like scopes on air guns. To me, it is a timeless beauty!

That is one beautiful 350 there Roy! Love the wood and wondering if that butt pad is stock ? What caliber is it and have you chronographed it since the spring change? Welcome to the site !

Nice. I also want sights on all springers. Even if I scope them I shoot on low magnification and utilize that front post/hood as a reference for repeatable face/eye placement.

I didn't know that the 350 has been around that long. I see from Roy's other thread that it's a .177 cal

It’s .177, I was shooting Rws superdome, it used to shoot around 1015, then dropped down to 935, found out it had broken spring. Replaced spring and piston seal and now shoots same pellet 1060-1070. (8.3gr). Everything is stock except for sights.

Yea, my eyes aren’t what they used to be, but the peep sights trick your eyes to focus better. I shoot 25 yd matches with a Mossberg 44 US(standing) and I can actually shoot tighter groups with iron sights than with a scope! Since the ammo shortage, I’m shooting my pellet gun more for practice than my .22. I love that old Mossberg- great target .22.

Gorgeous gun! I'm an HW guy but always liked the way the 350 looked. I almost bought one once. Kind of thinking I might still like to.
