A while back I inquired about getting a fill adapter this like one:
I was told I needed a DIN300 male to CGA347 male fill adapter. Then to get a CGA 347 male to 1/4 NPT male and thread them together which I did.. however when I put them in the CF tank at the fire station and they tried to fill my tank, all it did was leak air the second pressure was applied.
In trying to figure out why, I got the old one again and compare it and noticed a rather glaring difference. The one that works has that little 'protrusion' on it. (see below) Any idea what it's called and/or where I could find one since the one I currently have doesn't work?
NOTE: Mine is the all-silver one at the top of the first image, the second one with the brass fitting is the one that actually works. I've circled the "protrusion" part that's needed if I can figure out what it's called. Any one know? Thanks in advance!
