Cicada hunting

Canada Yogies are are a joke like our leader. You could probably get over border but pack a lunch. If I buy a rifle in U.S. that’s legal I have a company retrieves it for me at a cost, worth it to me. Just got 54 pro lam when they came out. Took 5 weeks. I don’t think Canada even saw that gun yet.
Couldn’t find my curved Forceps, tried small needle nose, need bend. Next Amazon order I’m get the tweezers.
I find when I work with wood my fingers get dry from sanding. I haven’t been in shop lately, found gripping pellet easier today.
‘Northern Michigan is very similar to my area. Crow

I don't even know why I've been posting Amazon links to you. Force of habit, I guess. After they screwed up my last orders to them, I'm apt to not take a chance w/ them again. I had hell getting them to refund what I ordered that they didn't deliver.

These will do the trick nicely for you. Cheaper too.

I may put my money where my mouth is and order that one myself. One thing I also did that you might want to do is to make a scabbard for the tweezers.

I had this belt I had bought at Dollar General. Turned out it was made from vinyl rather than leather. Stretched when I wore it. So to get my moneys worth I've been cutting 8 inches off, then cut that in half and then use duct tape to make a scabbard for air venturi pellet pens. The scabbard also holds the cross action tweezers nicely. Duct tape holds it on the stock (which kinda looks tacky ... brown or black spray paint would make it blend in better). I don't really care about tacky myself. Utility value is more important to me.

I have 3 sewing machines for leather and one goes through thick plastic (shin pads). My son is like Houdini on those machines, any leather work no problem. Used to repair sports equip. Have some nice hides.
‘I’ll look in my shop for the tweezers probably have a set in there.

Duct tape, can’t live without it.

we have Amazon.ca, same thing, only different. Crow

So the Amazon links and Walmart link I've been posting aren't any good for you because they lack a 'ca' suffix? Good to know. I'll keep that in mind. Here's a good one. It has a $5.53 delivery price though.

I like this one too.

Yeah, I don't know what I'd do without duct tape. I especially like the thick 'Gorilla' kind of duct tape.

I should probably start a separate thread about this. Let everybody in on how well curved cross action tweezers are for various types of air guns.

Bass opens here next sat. Best of both worlds bait and a target. Almost as useful as duct tape.
I’ve got 2 Stella’s waiting patiently for that date. Crow

Bass season is year round in Texas. Best bass fishing is during January at the N.W. corners and/or N.E. corners of any given lake. Those parts of the lake warm up 1st. Some REALLY big bass can be caught then.

In June, I'm Bluegill fishing. They've been spawning at the southern end of the lake since May. I don't use cicada's / locusts / large grasshoppers or crickets ... though many do. I like using lures. Size #00, or #0. or #1 Mepps inline spinners are always good lures for plate sized Bluegills. Small spoons or jigs can be good too.
