Chrony shooting stand

Hi , this is a chrony shooting stand I made last week. The chrony is put on a height adjustable stand ; the red box behind is made of 10mm plywood filled with magazines , newspapers or rubber foam , very thightly, and a plate of steel in the back in case of….very practical to test a gun in my shop without making a lot of holes in the wall

. The thickness of the box is 8 inches , enough to easily stop the pellets of my .30 Crown.

I've been getting materials together for a chrony stand to measure BC out at 50 and 100 yards.

Got the acrylic glass to protect it against strikes, got a stand, a board — now I need the time (and the will!) to mount it...! The backstop is a great idea, just don't know where to get the rubber mulch here in Peru....

Thanks Matthias ; in fact most of the backstop is made of sheets of paper , compressed as much as possible . The rubber "sheet" is used as a retainer . You could see it on the picture ,it's the first layer. It is used to be put under washing machines to minimize vibrations.
