Your results are not out of the ordinary and I would not worry. I've owned a TX200 since 2010. I speak from experience with my two guns which will vary slightly from yours. Both of my TX200(s) were stock and they both started at 20 ft/lbs of energy. The VORTEK kit is designed for smooth quiet operation and advertises 15-17 ft/lbs of energy. In a spring powered pellet gun, power is the trade-off or sacrifice that you make, in exchange for a smoother and quieter shooting cycle. You need to pay attention to your SD (standard deviation). This number should always be in the single digits and if it isn't, it's not the best pellet for your TX200. If you want to gain some additional FPS and ft/lbs try the 12.65 gr H&N Baracuda Green pellets. They were the fastest, most accurate pellet in both of my TX200(s). My SD was 2 and 3 respectively with these pellets.
