Christmas Day fun

Finally got my 100 yard target set up for January first start up practice. The plan of the steel frame swivel target frame holder came out so so sweet and as planned. Between the two set ups, I’ll have plenty to shoot up before i have to swap out target sheets.

It’s at a perfect location, as the winds come off the hills to the right and swoop down and across my parcel.

On that swing target frame I got lucky cause the size of the target border line(not the papers edge) fit easily within my 2 x 6 spacing. The only way I’ll hit that wood is if I mis adjusted my scopes elevation turret, or my gun was way off to start with. I have another rubber mulch target set up at 50 yards where I zero the gun and scope at, so provided I dial my elevations correctly, I won’t hit the wood or the water line

Ive shown this pic before, but this was last June, and back then I only had the mulch bucket target set up.

While practicing out to 100, on the top of the lowest 2 x 6 behind the target I saw something move. I held over to the right for wind coming from the right and pulled the trigger. It was a lizard sunning himself. I missed the top edge of the 2 x 6 and the water line below him completely. The 30 cal pellet drilled right thru his ribs.

I could never ever do that again. The stars were perfectly aligned at that moment

Amazing shot! Too bad, I like lizards more than rodents!

I would've shot it too though lol

In bed now cruising. Head up to 600psi. Gonna pop a burst disc.
@Vetmx Now that’s an interesting way to describe it. 😅 Only airgunners who’ve been there can relate. It will pass. Could be worse, a valve could’ve failed and your reservoir could’ve decided to take an air dump during range time. Hang in there bud.
