Chipper #57-58 for the season, #6-7 for October

Got these two today. The first one was ~35 yards and I hit it a little low. Had to search for it in the bushes and leaves. It made it about 10 feet before expiring. I'm still trying to dial the gun back in for my longer shots after having to work on it. The screws holding the breech block had loosened and caused the barrel to start touching the barrel band. I'm sure it has been that way for a while, but the fall I took the other day must have really jarred it loose and started causing my shots to wander like I was having lots of fliers caused by bad pellets. It wasn't the pellets.

The second one was at my wood pile @ ~15 yards. I saw it when I went out to search for the first one. It was sitting and eating something while quartering to me with the right side slightly exposed. The shot passed through, but the chipper was DRT, no movement after the shot.

.177 Benjamin Fortitude Gen2 using CPUM 10.5 @ ~750fps for ~12+fpe. Aim Sports Alpha 6 4.5-27x50 is the scope.

First 2 pics are the second one I shot @ ~15 yards near my wood pile. The entry and exit are visible in both pics. DRT, no movement after the shot. Ping pong ball for scale.

This is the first one I shot @ ~35 yards that ran about 10 feet before expiring. As I said above, the shot was a little low. First pic is entry, second exit.

Having trouble with my a/c unit. I think it is *just* the condenser fan, so I ordered a new one today ($165) and I *think* I can install the new one myself. Sounds like the bushings/bearings are warn out. At least I HOPE it is just that fan and not the compressor ($900-$1500 just for the compressor) because I will not be able to install that myself.

Anyway, because of worrying about the a/c I may not have a cigar... (heavy sigh...)

Well, at least not until later... maybe...
