Chipmunk at 50 yards

Not sure of the exact distance but about 20 yards beyond my 30 yard target. 
Had to take a follow up shot to finish it off.

Wow, that's a little critter to nail at 50 yards, good shot. I see them along my tree line and I've nailed a few with both my .25 Daystate Wolverine HP and .22 FX Royale 400, but never at that distance, my shots are around 20-25 yards. The little SOBs, sure don't stay in one place very long.

Good shot! I once tried to see how many in a row I could hit with my 22lr (before I started air gun hunting). They are small targets. I think I hit 6 or 7 without a miss, but none was nearly 50 yards away.

That makes no sense to me. Here in Ga, they get in my wife's flower pots and throw her potting out all over the place. When I see one, I get the air rifle.

My dad hated those little beasts. They always tore up the lawn and wrecked the stone walls. He gave us free range to rid the yard of them. Water hose down the hole to flush them out, rat traps and peanutbutter, but the best was the old Daisy 880 loaded all the way with BB's. dad would just sit on the deck with an iced tea and the 880 and wait them out.

Years back We heated with wood and had a woodpile along the back of our property.ar about 20 yards they used the wood pile as a hotel. Those rascals would borrow under the wood and weaken the ground to make the wood pile fall over. Behind the woodpile was a wood privacy fence. I would take only headshots and many times they would just flinch and continue sitting there. When they moved you could see the hole in the fence right behind there head, those little rascals could duck and dodge the pellet !!
