Cheek rest FX Wildcat Mark 3 to low how to modify it

Hi all,

I have a scope mounted FX Wildcat mark 3. The problem is that I can't see straight through the scope. I am experiencing top scope shadow. I tried changing to lower scope mounts but doesn't work. Is there any way to lift or modify the cheek rest so I can get a proper alignment with my scope? 



Any advice or solution will be welcome.

Use foam, leather, wood or what ever you prefer, cut to shape and fit. Attach with Velcro or contact cement.

Try water pipe fome insulation. You can get it in different thicknesses. If you really want some height, use a pool noodle! No modifications to do a test.

Contact ELIS5173. He is a well known member here whose known for his fancy schmancy FX Impact magazine speed loaders. He has made custom pieces for me, and as of late has made me a custom cheek rest for my Impact. I know he has a wildcat MK3 so if you know exactly how much more rise you need, it should not be a problem for him to re create a taller cheek piece for you. 

Slip pieces of cardboard on top of your cheek rest and stack them up till you find the height you need, and pull your measurement.
