I need to find a rebuild kit for the seals and of course take care of the rust issues from what I can tell its surface rust has not actually ate into the metal Stock is in good shape for its age.

Production on that rifle was somewhere past 05/1981, but not past 09/1981. The serial number on my FWB124D was in 1979. It is stamped 18866, and I bought it in the spring of 1979.

I honestly don’t know, the guy I got it from said he dad got it in early 70 but I take such things with a grain of salt

Some very interesting things I have found out is the weaver classic 300 was only produced for two years

That is the trigger that was on it but it came with this one too. I'm not sure which was original.

Everywhere I’ve looked agrees with the 80 to 81 date for mine I am very very new to FWB so I am not the one to answer date questions I’ve been trying to decide on keeping it and doing some serious TLC or handing it off to someone I shoot bigbores and pcp and have plans on dipping my Texan

What about rebuild kits who do you go to and are they according to date also. Would you go with the high power or lower power to ease up on the spring recoil
