Cheap Targets

I really enjoy the immediate feedback from the Shoot-N-See targets. They are both encouraging and frustrating at the same time. While cruising the local discount outlet store, i came across a pretty good deal for inexpensive targets. I paid $0.99 each for two packs of 5/8" orange self-adhesive dots. Put onto the back side of once used print paper, they afford a good challenge for my springers at 44 yards. They also make the sillouetts stand out on the spinners set at 30 yards. I still have the original smiley face 3/8" stickers that came 720 to a pack from Staples for around $3.00.

I have used my new RWS Model 34P Pro Compact in .177 with no ill effects, except for the stickers! My forty year old Model 35 generates 1/3 of the muzzle energy of the 34, but with devistating accuracy. These are set at thirty yards, making them especially challenging for my Webley Alecto Ultra .177. Note that I had to set these into plywood to keep them from being blown over by the pellet impact.
