Cheap red dot/green dot.

Looks to be the same one at https://buck-rail.com/product/the-hawkeye-red-green-dot/. I just ordered it today to play with. I'm guessing since you bought a 2nd one, it's worth the money?

Looks the same to me. Open sights are kind of fuzzy to me due to age, this is not. If it is the same, the windage adjustment has a little locking screw on the other side. They send a little allen wrench for it. Unlock it before adjusting windage. Mine was unlocked when I got it, but I could see it causing a problem if trying to adjust while locked.

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah, my eyes have never been great, but are definitely worse than they used to be, so I'm interested in trying this out.

You spend good money for a gun, then spend penny's for a cheap dot sight..??

What does an expensive dot site do that this one don't? This is the first one I have ever tried. It has 2 different colors, 5 brightness levels, and 4 different reticle pictures. I installed it on a $237 pcp that I don't beat on. It's easy to adjust, clear, and holds point of aim. What am I missing?

And mine is destined for a 1377 that I paid $40 for, many years ago. If this works at least somewhat well, I may get a better one, but I'm certainly not going to spend $200 on a sight for it.

I recently did this same experiment, but with an ADE model RD3-002 Red Dot Sight with Weaver-Picatinny Mount for $45.00 off eBay and factory direct. I was happy with the purchase/experiment as well. Buy one of those $20.00 red laser sights in front of the reflect sight and you will be amazed at the results. They compliment the accuracy each other at the zero range, and the laser makes easy work of perfectly zeroing any red dot or scope.

I will have to try that. I have never tryed a laser either.
