I recognize the cognitive dissonance in a sentence that includes both "cheap" and "Leshiy 2". Picking it up as my first airgun, and I'd like a small safe that can hold it when it's folded. 350mm barrel with Huma mod 40. Any recommendations?

whats the idea of the safe for, theft prevention or kid prevention? .. if its theft id get a decent hardcase and keep it with you in the trunk of the car, just wipe it down occasionally they tend to absorb oil .. and dont leave it in the trunk at home as moisture can get in a car .. keep it with you as said, dont let nobody know its in there or see it ie throw a jacket over it and carry it under your arm if necessary ... 90% of theivery starts with them seeing something .. 'showing out' except among close friends is how stuff gets marked ... once theyre on ya theyll get it likely ...

My entire 30 rifle collection is kept in "old fashion" heavy duty thick metal school BIG lockers. I bought several for peanut money when a local school was remodeled.
I have since seen lockers similar to school lockers sold by retailers. Perfect way to keep family safe.
Google metal lockers, I'll bet IKEA will have something to offer.

folded, it should fit in a locking file cabinet drawer. That's how I used to store my Leshiy Classic.

The term “cheap” is different to different people. But this what I was thinking.

If it's just to keep it safe from kids, you could run a wire through the rail, trigger and air tubes. Like a metal cable with loops on the end. Easy enough to make one with a little metal cable and some crimps. Then padlock the loops. If the cable is short enough, you won't be able to open the Leshiy. If you can't fold it open, it can't fire. This is a $5 solution, plus a padlock.

kids old enough to learn gun safety ? i just taught my 3 year old Grand daughter not to touch a gun , later she will learn to shoot i hope .

Lock up the magazines . No magazine means no danger except you might loose the puck but that would tell you if the kids messed with the gun.
