Cheap Cleaning

I know we can , and will spend whatever it takes sometimes but I was in a hurry , and did not have a pull through like a bore snake , or a patchworm , so I grabbed some weed eater line , and folded that in half , and it worked really good. I pulled the first patch through my new ZELOS , and like Nate said pasty bro. So yeah while I'm waiting for the bore snake to arrive
someday this was a great make shift

What i use is a thin weed eater line tie a knot heat with lighter pull tight. I use a felt cleaning plug same diameter as rifle cut in half . works just like patch worm. Prolly .25 cents invested although ive bought 2 patchworms till a friend enlightened me. My first patch worm kist was a bit too short for my likeing so now i make the my individual perfect size

I've used fishing line before. 50 lb. test works well so long as it doesn't have to pass through baffles.

You got it . What I use to catch 10 foot 700 + pounders like the one in my profile name picture . I was born in the desert and raised in the sage_ good booze and Sturgeon is all that I crave. Roll on Columbia roll on !

I also made my first pull thru made with a loop in the end and made with self braded Dacron fishing line . Now 20 years old and still strong as ever.
