Changing my Altaros booster set-up to give my wife her kitchen back

This week I am going to set up my Altaros booster and 3 CAT compressors to permanently live in my garage.

Once the wiring comes, I will angle them to prevent the compressor fans from blowing hot air on each other and to prevent kinked hoses.


My wife has been such a trooper about me occupying her kitchen every week or so for 3 hours. Once the wiring comes in and set up it will be just a plug ang play system with only the dessicant filter naintainence.

Awesome setup!
Does the Altaros Booter really need that much air that you have to have 3 compressors to keep up ?
I am considering getting Altaros Booster when my Shoebox compressor dies.

Smart man, keep momma happy! Nothing scarier than asking if anything is wrong and getting the low monotone, "I'm fine". Time to run for the hills as "fine" never seems to really mean fine...

Good luck with your project, you will probably be happier not have to set it all up and tear it all down every time that you want to fill tanks.

They run far better with two CAT compressors. I bought a 3rd for a spare because I got it on sale for about $100.00 off, then could not resist plugging it in to the system.

The third one really increases the idle time vrs run time, which reduces heat which is a killer of compressors.

Yes, she should kick my ass but she is so short she gets me in the back of my thigh. She is a great gal, but I just can’t get her to cast bullets for me, but at least she great at reassembling my Airguns.
