How hard is it to change cal. from a .177 to a .22 on a HW 100. I already have a factory .22 barrel ?

Takes a few parts.
Bolt probe, Transfer port/valve housing, the brass reducer or exhaust valve itself is different between the two, and the regulator will have to be adjusted and the rifle retuned.
The biggest thing is the rear section of the block. I'm not sure if it has to be changed, but the bolt probe retracts completely through a properly sized hole in the block, and the probe is caliber specific so id imagine the hole in the block is too.
I have one in each caliber, and next time I get them both together I can try and look.
I will say I like the .177 much better!
