Chamber Lube for A Gas Ram ?

Back in the day with springers we had special lubes for the chamber to keep the seal in good shape and lightly lubed ...... do you do any special lubing of the chamber on Vortex, or gas rammed chambers ??? Of course we had spring lubes but that is not necessary for a gas rammed gun. I know you would use a non petroleum product so it won't diesel for sure !

If it is common procedure to condition your chamber in a gas ram gun .... what product do you guys use, I very much want to know ?

Thank you in advance !

"30cal"Yes they still need chamber lube for the piston seals and breach o-ring. Just don't need to lube the gas spring. RWS chamber lube: http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/RWS_Air_Chamber_Lube_Dropper_Silicone_Oil_50_oz/3002 is what I have.
I assume you are using a gas ram gun... If I may ask which one ?

I just put a couple of bottles on my wish list at Midway, waiting for their Black Friday Sale to start of Monday. I have some old cylinder lube m but it is 20 years old, I think it is time for a newer formula... mine is some old Beeman. Does that chamber oil have any MOS2 in it ?

Ok it seem there exceptions to every rule. Just checked the manuals of the Beeman R9 and that gun does not need chamber lube. Then checked the Crossman Phantom 1000x which is a coil spring gun and the Benjamin Trail NP2 which is a gas spring gun and both require chamber lube every few hundred shots. So the moral of this story it to read the owners manual for your particular gun.
