CF Scuba tanks

We use metric so I had to look up the L to CUFT conversion. I have 12L carbon bottle 300 bar, the free air would be 12x300 then giving 3600L, multiplying that by the listed conversion factor gives approximately 127CUFT.

Now I know that my 12L carbon tank is the biggest commercially availible in the market place produced anywhere in the world today, because I spoke direct to ACECARE who are the manufacturers in China along with Shenyang gas.

In fact the largest availible commercially here is 9L which is 95CUFT, so about what you guys are saying for your information the dimensions of the bottles are as follows;

9L 22" tall by 6.5" diameter approx

12L 22" tall by 8" diameter approx

pic below shows scale next to the typical 480cc Daystate/FX bottle.

When I was looking at tanks, I found a bunch of different options..
I settled on piecing together my own setup 9X cf which is more like an 88-95 cf or 9L volume..
No matter where I looked [at complete setups] I still saved $100.00 - So that's why I went that route.

As mentioned above - Those Luxfer 106 tanks looked really nice, and I was close to grabbing one..

DRAGER is another nice option - if you can find the BIG ones - especially in NOS consition.
