Anyone using a Centerpoint scope on a RWS 48? I've read that CP scopes are airgun rated but anyone with actual experience will help. Thanks.
Centerpoint scopes on RWS Diana 48?

Black diesel let us know how the anti-recoil mount goes. I have one rifle that for some reason kills scopes consistently and I was thinking of ordering one but I wasn't sure about the return to zero claim.

I use the same anti recoil mount on my Diana 460 magnum, and have used several scopes on top of the magnum, now an Athlon talos btr 4-14x44.
No issues so far. Nevertheless Athlon comes along with life time warranty also.....

+++++ for the RWS Bullseye mount. I first put one on an RWS 54 because they are known for being probably the worst scope eating guns. I then placed some of the cheapest scopes I could find on it, no issues.
First take it apart and place small o rings on the sliding rods at the front. This will soften the re-seating action but not interfere with the locating cones. Some will be afraid that they won't hold zero.I can send you a few pics to show what I am talking about.(text me at 707-362-7711.) I now have them on a few of my springers and they have had no negative impact whatsoever.
Hector Medina uses them exclusively and is probably THE go-to guy for the RWS scope killing group (48, 52,54 and 56). The Bullseye mount also has droop compensation built in.
I LOVE the RWS sidelevers. A magnum springer that you can put a bipod on for an identical resting point for every shot.... um.... Yes Please!!

I have one on my 54 .22cal vortek pg2 kitted and it's doing fine. I just hate looking at it. It makes me be super cautious when toting my 54 around. I'll hopefully get a bkl 1 pc w/droop compensation and get rid of the ZR mount

The only distributor in Australia has advised there are none in stock and won't be available until December. The local gun shop in town has 26 on back order. I don't really care how it looks just as long as it stops this rifle killing scopes.

I decided to put a Centerpoint 4-16x40 on the 48. I know someone who has this scope mounted on a 350 magnum and have not had any problems. Crosman lists it as airgun rated so I will see.

Centerpoint 3-9x40ao on my Bemjamin npxl, it didn't last long. The crosshairs turned sideways after about 500 pellets. The 4-16 is supposed to be a better scope. A lot of the responses on here are either tuning their rifle or using anti-recoil mount!

I have the same Centerpoint 3-9x40 AO on my Benji classic .22 and even after upgrading to a magnum spring/piston haven't had any issues with it, over 2k shots.

I forgot to update. Crosman verified that the 4-16x44 and 4-16x40 are spring gun rated. So Centerpoint 4-16 are going on all three Dianas, 350 magnum, 48 and 460 magnum.
