Hey Y'all,
I'm starting this thread because I recently went about installing a CDT trigger in my Gamo Coyote, but during the research/preparation process I was hard pressed to find any info on the actual process. There were a lot of posts stating that it could be done, but none detailing how they did it.
The Gamo Coyote's construction requires that the gun be disassembled in order to get the trigger in there. There is a plastic cover on the right side of the trigger that cannot be removed without damaging it unless the gun is disassembled. It is a little tricky, and i used the HUMA regulator installation guide to help me along the way.

After that, it is fairly straight forward, almost drop in really. BUT the Coyote trigger blade has the pivot pin molded into the trigger blade, and the CDT is not supplied with one so you will need to source a dowel pin yourself. I measured it with my calipers and its size is 5/32x7/16. This is a fairly obscure size, and I could not find one locally and would need to order online. Since I was feeling impatient, I found a 5/32x3/8 at a local hardware store and used that. It works fine. 7/16 would be ideal, but 3/8 will do.
Furthermore, the first stage spring sits in a slot that is molded into the Coyote Trigger (I'll try and upload pics next time I have my gun apart). It proved rather difficult to install it back into the trigger assembly with the CDT trigger since that molded slot is not present in the new trigger blade. Therefore, I opted to leave it out and have a single-stage CDT that breaks at about 1lb. It's sweet and breaks clean. My groups tightened immediately.
Anyway, I hope this helps anyone out there looking to improve their coyote. Feel free to PM or post with other questions.
Nico
